Having trouble getting a Hamster?

I cleaned my room, wrote an essay, made a place for a cage, did research & took notes, bought a cage & exercise ball, made another essay, explained why I want a hamster, & did extra chores but I still can't get my dad to let me get a hamster. I am out of ideas!!! Please Help Me!!! idk what else to do!!!

well i had that same problem too. my dad always said no until i sat down with him and acted like i was mature enough to have one i said that i would pay for the food and the rest of the supplies it needed without asking him for money event if i dont work. also tell him that if the hamster makes a mess tell him that you will clean it and will also have your room clean at all times.
