I spend my entire work day talking with people on the phone and in my office. I do not have any social anxiety and i meet new people on a daily basis but i can't seem to find the motivation to go out and meet new people in a relaxed social setting. I have been single for over a year or so now and i have been enjoying it but i am starting to miss being in a relationship. Just after dealing with the daily stress i don't really feel like talking anymore and i usually end up at home after work. Any suggestions to get me out of my slump?

  1. Pick a day of the week to go out.  Tell yourself you only have to go out this one day, and can relax at home in the evenings the other 6.

  2. start from home! -- water the plants outside, then say hi with a sincere smile to your neighbor.

after office -- invite a friend or an officemate to a bar then chill!

if friends are busy -- go out alone, but dont forget to bump into someone you think is interesting.

  3. Go out whenever your friends or coworkers go out.

Stop finding excuses and just make yourself go with them.

  4. Go to a bar and approach someone.

  5. well if u dont wanna go out and socialise then u dont have to,

i find talking to people on the internet a great social learning experience

u can practise trying to have convos with people on the internet
