Having trouble playing metal gear online on my comcast netgear router cg814wgv2?

does anybody know what ports i need 2 open to play metal gear online? i had a cable modem before and worked fine. now that comcast sent a tech to set up my computer. he put a netgear modem/router its the cg814wg v2 model. so ever since they put this netgear router i keep getting "CONNECTION NOT STABLE" i called sony, the netgear company and comcast home networking support. and none are no help. does anybody know how to fix this? or know what ports numbers i nee to open? ....i can play call of duty 4 with no problem and rockband and gta4 without a problem
