But sometimes small blobs of paint come through and onto my job.Is their an easy way to tell weather the paint is to thick or thin.I have tried adjusting the air flow control on bottom of spray gun and the control on the side of the gun but can not get it right. The paint also seems to spray to lite. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS David

  1. Allen's right. If you know anyone who sprays flawlessly, it's because they've done it so much that they'vr already f*****d up a hundred jobs. There's MUCH to know, including the basic "did you strain it?" E- mail him, as people who know these things don't often offer.

  2. Go with allen. While i have lots of experience he sounds like he has me beat.I mighnt contact him myself in the future.

  3. There are to many variables to give you an accurate answer! What kind of paint and thinners are you using? What size tip is on the gun? Those two little k***s are for your pattern and your material content. What are you painting? Is there an air pressure regulator on the gun? What's the air pressure when you pull the trigger? Do you have a water separator installed in the air line where it meets the gun? If you answer some of these questions I might be able to help! email me at allanclanin@yahoo.com if you need help after you answer some of these questions, or if you need help answering these questions.
