  1. you can try using a torch on a low flame to heat the nut.  this causes the metal to expand a bit and help break loose any debris or rust that may be holding the nut in place. let the nut cool and try loosening it.  good luck!!

  2. JB 80 usually works well. If the nut is rounded you might need a Vise Grip with teeth. If it just isn't moving. It might help to heat the nut but not the bolt so that the metal expands. You might be able to put a pipe on an opened end wrench of course this is usually unsafe for you and the wrench. Did you try a breaker bar from the socket set if the nut is rounded you might be stuck with the Vise Grips

  3. are you using an open ended spanner or a ring spanner, if your using an open ended spanner use a ring spanner instead and before trying to undo it spray some wd40 onto it and let it sit for a short time then try to undo it again also make sure you are trying to take it off the right way loosen it not tighten it. hope this is of some help.

  4. You can try a hammer and a punch. Try working your way around the nut by putting the punch in the spanner slots and tapping it a bit with the hammer.
