Having trouble with my new gme TX3200 can anyone help please?

just got my tx3200 few days ago and instaled it seem to have good range most people can here me clearley but I seem to get a lot of background static trying to listen any sugestions pls am new to cb so not shore if this is normal or i have mised some \thing in instaling the unit am a towie so I have other tow ways and scaner in truck would that may be some of my probs raley gets anoying listing to that schsssssssss all the time any sugestions would be most aprisated .Thanks

The fact that you have the other tow ways in there is THE WHOLE PROBLEM. They all compete for the signal, thus giving you the backround static.
