Question:

Having trouble with the Wii?

I just took out my Wii and installed hooked everything up. The problem is, everything loads and then the Wii isn't detecting the controllers. I mean it somewhat does because the buttons work and stuff, but I cannot see the hands/pointers to click on stuff? I tried moving my controller around and even going closer to the motion detector, but I still see no signs of the hand. How can I fix this problem?

  1. If the First option dont work

Try removing your wii sensor bar.

(when u were setting the wii up....one of the question was Where is the location of your sensor bar Above tv or Below Tv). Make sure you put the sensor bar where you check for your answer. Also make sure the sensor bar is by the front edge of the tv not the back because it want pick up with the Remote.

    Hope this solves your problem

U might even have to buy a new sensor bar but they are really cheap. Like 3-5 dollars or something.

  2. My friend has a Wii and this same problem occurred with hers. What you need to do is step *away* from the Wii detector, not move closer to it. Try stepping two steps away with the Wii controller at one time, then waving it to see if the pointer shows up.

You might have to step out of the room like I have to sometimes at my friend's house... the problem should resolve itself within a few days.

    Enjoy your new Wii!

  3. you probably haven't synchronized the controllers....there is a red button in the battery compartment of the controller as well as in the compartment in the front of the wii......press the controller button then the wii console button
