  3. For drinks - colorful fruit punch with real tropical fruits or virgin Pina Colada would do. Tropical iced tea also gives that 'island' flavor as well.

For food - BBQ chicken or pork pizza with Pineapple toppings always seem to make it 'Hawaiian' and it's easy.

You can make burgers with Maui sweet onion and avocado

and call it 'Island Burger.' Serve it with Hawaiian kettle chips.

Hawaiians love fresh seafood and Sushi too. You can pick up shrimp cocktail or some sushi platter at local grocery store or take-out restaurant. You can also whip up Tuna Salad, your own recipe.

Even if you only have ordinary party food, you can make everything look perfectly like tropical paradise by using dishware with fun color and shape, like coconut shaped glasses and pineapple shaped plates etc.

Decorate the place and tables with Hibiscus or Plumeria.

Lanterns and lei's for even more fun!

    Enjoy : )

  4. have food.

  5. Fruit kebobs - and stick the skewers into whole fresh pineapple, and use those as centerpieces.  Little wooden bowls filled with chunks of FRESH coconut and macadamia nuts ......  I suppose the pizza might be the easiest main dish for teenagers, and the safest, since you know everyone will eat it:)  .....  You can make a cake, or cupcakes, with coconut or pineapple cake mix;  whip some heavy whipping cream with 1 tsp. vanilla until very stiff peaks.  Pile on top of the cupcakes and sprinkle with coconut .....  Hollow out 1/2 watermelon, and refill with the cubed melon, papaya, mango & berries .....  Get some solar tiki torches at Home Depot ..... get some artificial branches of little orchids at Michaels and strew the orchids all over the table, and on the platters of food.  Put the platters of food on top of big real or artificial leaves .....   Just make a punch of pineapple juice, orange juice and 7-Up or Sprite.  You can float some sherbet or sorbet in the punch bowl, if you want......
