Hawiian party question?

Question

i'm having an hawiian bbq with my friends for my 17th birthday.

i'm gunna hula hoops, leis, a bon fire, smores, swimming, hawiian decorations like strings of flowers all over my deck and fence.

any other ideas for decorations or activites??

Home Depot has solar bamboo tiki torches .... check Oriental Trading Co.'s website for favors & decorations.  They have grass skirts to go around your tables ....  strew lots of little artificial orchids around the tables ...  Fruit kebobs stuck in a whole fresh pineapple (can use as a centerpiece) ... little wooden bowls with hunks of FRESH coconut, sugar cane and macadamia nuts ....You might consider a slice of pineapple on the s'mores, to make them more "Hawaiian" ... fill a jar with tropical flavored jelly bellies, and have people guess how many are in there.....limbo stick ... "pass the orange" relays

bake some pineapple slices on the bbq - everyone can make up their own kebabs with toffee sauce.
