Hawkeyethenoo, the upcoming star for the trainer, Jim Goldie, after a decent finishing in the Darley July Cup

The Group 1 Darley July Cup (British Champions Series And Global Sprint Challenge) on 14th July, 2012 at Newmarket over six furlongs, has not only brought new names at the horizon, but became a platform for their talent which none other could
have measured so meticulously.
The winner, Mayson, has become the icon for the future sprint challenges while the relatively decent fifth finishing of Hawk Wing’s six-year-old bay gelding, Hawkeyethenoo, cannot be ignored.
It was his first time in graded company and his tremendous courage not to let the legendary competitors intimidate him has made him a glimmering candidate for future international spectacles.
The accomplished handicapper panned out his potential and the promise of further success given the right opportunity. The trainer of the six-year-old has handpicked the Betfair Summer Double International Handicap that is to be staged at the Royal Ascot
race course on Saturday, 21st July.
The six-year-old bay gelding foaled by Stardance in 2006, has earned the entry for himself and with some additional effort will finally be successful in posting a win on the record which has stay deprived of one since a while.
"The plan is to try to run him next week at Ascot. He loves it there.
"I don't think the July Cup took too much out of him and he should run well. I didn't expect to be running on heavy ground at Newmarket on the July course."
In companionship with jockey, Graham Lee, the Johnnie Delta Racing owned did not set into an early pace right on rather held up in the rear and burst into speed when there was the final furlong to go. He was the last of the group of five contestants who
got to face the rivalry inside the final furlong.
"He seems grand. We purposely left him overnight in Newmarket so he had a chance to have a good night's sleep, rehydrate and get some feed into him," said the Glasgow trainer.
Hawkeyethenoo’s improved form will take him to races and in companies that will add to his remarkable composure further. How soon will the six-year-old will post a success is not a matter that will need to be waited upon for long.
The Irish bay gelding has for sure become the stable star for the trainer, Jim Goldie.
