Hawks?? What do you think of this??

Question

If the Hawks lose Josh Smith, will tehy still be good? And will they make the playoffs, I think they will be good, just not as good with Josh Smith than wothout!

Well they weren't that good with him last season, so  without him I would expect them to not make the playoffs.  The only exception would be if they lost him but kept Childress and Al and Marvin both made the leap.  

They really need to get this ownership issue under control.  Atlanta is a great town and deserves a good team at the very least.  Still, every team in the ATL rolls out teams with great athletes (Nique, Vick, the Braves have had many) only to fall short.

I mean we only won like 37 games with him, imagine what would happen if we lost him =O

But chill dont worry, both Smiths and Woodson reps have said they have really no big problem.

But Josh is frustrated cuz of how slow the Hawks are going with re-signing him, I mean do you blame him??

The Hawks need to meet up with him and talk, or else this will go NO WHERE!!!

ESPN said Josh Smith is staying, he only wanted to leave because of the coach (mike woodson). And theyre definetly are going to the playoffs, they just got a taste of winning this year and they have a lot of potential for years to come. Rec teams can make the playoffs in the east

Sorry, but I doubt they make the playoffs even if Smith resigns. Milwalkee, Miami, Indiana, Chicago. All these non playoff teams last year have improved a lot. The Hawks are sitting still. I dont think they can afford to do that after barely making the playoffs last year.

No they had a below .500 record with Josh Smith. I heard somewhere he's only one of a few players to have so many points blocks rebounds steals etc... Along with a few other legends. Especially since other eastern conference teams have improved like the Heat, and Chicago, even Milwaukee. The Hawks haven't done anything to replace them.

What's comical is I've heard they worked out Kwame Brown.

the hawks will NOT make the playoffs if they lose josh smith during the off season, he is their second leading scorer, best shotblocker, 2nd highest rebounder, and next to joe johson,  ultimately their best player night in and night out

also the east is getting more stacked this year so that hawks need every piece of their arsenal in order to make a true playoff run
