Hawthorn should have won!?

Ok yeah first of all i am a Hawthorn supporter but hawthorn should have won against port. what do you think?

Yeah your right .... we should have won, we were in front all day and were playing better. It was the two 50 metre penalties in the first 5 mins of the last quarter, that lead to the loss.

The guys played well but those 2 50's were terrible. We wont be able to do that in september

yeah i agree, hawthorn did deserve it but it was a good mark  by ebert, u have to admit that but yeah unlucky to lose that one

Only heard Scott Cummings doing updates on 3AW via the internet here in Kansas. I can't see the umpires, so I don't know. I picked Hawthorn, thought they would get over down in Tassie.

anyway it was a good game but you can blame the game on joel smith he should have punched the ball out brett eberts hands.

but he didnt and because he didnt hawthorn lost.

The fact is that the umpire made that particular decision that 'cost' Hawthorn the game.

They should have won it a lot earlier.....so dont blame the guy in red! The Hawks had it and they let it slip away!

yes hawthorn should have won but they are still a very immature and young team. it is awesome that they are playing well this year but they are gonna make some stupid mistakes until they learn a bit more at the senior level. no worries, the Hawks are a good team who will be a force for quite a few years if they can keep the nucleus of their team together

Well, I think Sydney should have won too but in the end they let that last goal happen so that's the way the cookie crumbles! It's a bit immature to blame umps for results- it's up to the team to win regardless of perceived favours or setbacks - that is why it's a professional sport.
