Hawthorne Boat House on Lynack road?...?

Does anyone know the history of this place?..

A couple of my friends and I went up there and explored a little and we'd like to learn more about this house..

I wish i had either, but i dont..

Many gangs and drug addicts, once was a hideout for a couple members of the kkk, tons of broken glass, killed animals inside, couple gun parts, car parts, bomb shelter (which is indeed true), and a very dark basement lol
