Hay Does anybody know how I can perform with a cockney voice??

I am Welsh and I need something that I can learn with in one night!!Any ideas??

Drop your 'h's, pop in a few Cockney rhyming slangs

I advise watch some Mary Poppins on YouTube of Bert - his accent is overly strong and quite innaccurate but it is the steroetypical showbiz 'Cockney'. Also, be quite loud and nasal, that's effective.

Another example of Cockney, if you need to hear more, is Alun Armstrong from the Tenth Anniversary Concert of Les Miserables.  He plays Thenardier, who is generally performed with a cockney accent.

If you youtube TAC Master of the House, he'll be in the first video that shows up.
