competition at this ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) Challenger Tour event taking place in Rimouski, Canada.
Lewis displayed brilliant skills and abilities to outsmart the American in almost one and half hour. With a single break of serve, the Barbados contender secured a place in the final round of the qualifying competition at this hard court tournament.

Lewis kept momentum running into the following set and jumped to a 3-0 lead after getting the coveted break in the second game. He then maintained consistency in his game and after fending off all five breakpoints he faced, the veteran kept entire serves
and pulled out the set by winning six games to three.
Overall, the 26-year-old clobbered a better first serve share of 80 per cent in contrast with the American’s 67 per cent and amazingly availed 43 out of 56 points on it. He also earned a better share on his returns and dominated throughout the match.
The top seed, Michael McClune, will join Lewis in the following round. He crushed Darian King with a breadstick in 56 minutes.
The American star hammered 10 aces and kept entire serves in the match. He then cashed in three out of five break chances to seal the deal with a 6-1, 6-4 score line.
