did you go to court or is it a default judgment, are they collecting a debt for your original creditor or did they buy the debt(junk debt buyer)you must read the fair debt collection pratice act....go to federal trade commission or just surf the web, they may have contacted you illegally or sent you a dunning letter,for the act to help you they must be collecting indirectly on the debt, you can file a motion to vacate yourself if no lawyer wlll help you need a consumer lawyer tho...not just a reg do all type....when you check out the fair dent act..you will know if you should send a letter asking for verification of the debt.......nathan   [e-mail]
