Hayward VIPER pool vacuum - Need Help!?

Question

We have had to clamp each hose extention as they have blown off at different periods this summer... Now the crazy thing is spinning in circles & not doing it's job!

First time pool owner here, so not sure what to do!

I'm not familiar with the Viper but here are some suggestions:  Check the water pressure to the cleaner.  If it's getting too much or two little pressure it will not function properly.  Check the wheels/drive mechanism for flat spots, etc.  Check to see if there's a rock or something caught in the intake.  If there's no obstruction, the filters are clean, and there are no obvious signs of damage, you should take it to a reputable dealer or pool store to get their opinion.

if you can, take it back and get a new one or a different one preferably. Obviously it has some sort of disfunction or its cheap.

Get a nicer one if may be more expensive but atleast it will last you for a longggggggggggggggg time...
