Chelsea’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 has gone on to express his disappointment following his side’s loss to Juventus in the Champions League, as he feels the team didn’t deserve to lose as badly as they did.
The match saw Chelsea going in with an easy qualification being on the line. However, Juventus were not looking to make things easy for the club and went on to beat the Blues by three goals to nil.
During the course of the game it looked like Chelsea had just about no fighting spirit, as they were all over the place, with Juventus easily dominating the game.
Despite that fact, Hazard is of the opinion that Juventus saw the end result favour them a little too much, since Chelsea didn’t play half as bad as everyone is suggesting they did.
When talking about the game, the Belgian international and Blues attacker is reported to have said:
"I think the result is too severe for us because we played a good match in the first half, even if we didn't score. Juventus scored in each chance they created.”
"We are sorry, we knew that this was a difficult match, but it's normal because in the Champions League you face the biggest teams in Europe. Juve are among them, they played very aggressive and put us in trouble."
At the moment, Chelsea’s qualification depends a lot on how Juventus and Shakhtar Donetsk play in their last game. If Juventus are able to pick up a single point from their last game, then http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 will be as good as out of the Champions League.
This is rather surprising considering the fact that the London based club went on to win the competition last season.
At the moment, Hazard and the rest of the Chelsea squad are confident that Shakhtar won’t be looking to settle for a draw, and might just be able to beat Juventus in the last game of the group stages.
He added: "Qualifying to the next stage is now more difficult but we hope Shakhtar will win. An 'agreed' draw between Shakhtar and Juve? I don't believe in this but we we'll know just after the match."
