Chelsea’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo as he feels the manager is getting the best out of his team.
The Blues went on to land the Belgian international at the start of the transfer window and so far, he has not disappointed and seems to be worth the thirty two million pounds that the club paid for him.
In his first three games for the club, he has gone on to pick up six assists and has scored one goal.
That is a statistic that can be regarded as being impressive for anyone, but considering that it is only his first season for the club, makes it a whole lot more impressive.
However, Hazard has gone on to admit that Di Matteo’s presence at the club has made it easier for him to adjust to life at the Stamford Bridge, and hopes for the manager to be able to help him improve even further in the coming days.
“Di Matteo’s philosophy is more about playing football than being physical,” Hazard said in a recent interview.
“We do a lot of ball work and pre-season was not as hard as I thought it would be. I was expecting it to be a lot tougher.”
“But we’re well prepared because we’ve won our first games.”
“What I hope for is to keep on enjoying playing and to be decisive like I have been in the first few games.”
He then went on to talk about life at his new club and how dramatically things were improving for him.
“I’ve adapted very well to life in London. You’re always a bit overawed when you arrive at a club with so many big names,” he continued.
“But then you tell yourself ‘They are people like me with two arms and two legs’. Of course, I have respect for the players who are already here but it is down to me to tread my own path.”
Should he continue to play the same way that he has been for the last couple of weeks, then he could be considered to be the signing of the season.
