Hazeldene Dan looking stronger than race favourite Pittsburgh Glory in the Bags Sis Easter Bunny Standard – Heat 2
Romford is hosting the Grade IR Bags Sis Easter Bunny Standard – Heat 2 on 3rd March, 2012. The track will cover a distance of 400 metres and award prize money of £200.
The 6 hounds competing in this race are:
Front Stage,
Jaytee Mich,
Ashanti Kody,
Hazeldene Dan,
Pittsburgh Glory, and
Dreams Cometrue.
Pittsburgh Glory, son of Killahan Phanter, out of Sanu We Kee, did not perform well, and left his trainer, D. Mullins dissatisfied with his previous performance.
He finished 5th in the Grade OR Bedford Road Standard at Henlow, which took place on 23rd February, 2012.
His performance was much better in a race before that as he finished as a runner-up in the  Grade A1 400M Flat race, at Romford, on 16th February, 2012.
He was defeated by Killeenagh Lad by 2 ¼ lengths.
Ashanti Kody, son of Premier Fantasy, out of Quick and Easy, succeeded over Struggling Gar in his previous race. He defeated him by 6 lengths, in the Grade A2 400M Flat race, at Romford, on 11th February, 2012.
His next performance left his trainer, M. Wiley, disappointed as the hound finished in 5th place in the Grade A1 400M Flat race, at Romford, on 22nd February, 2012. He finished before Lavally sunrise.
Hazeldene Dan is looking to complete his hat-trick in this race. He has accomplished two consecutive victories at Romford.
The son of Yeah Man, out of Chloes Dream, defeated Zenyatta, by 5 ½ lengths, in the Grade A2 400M Flat race, on 25th February, 2012.
He defeated Teagan Queen by 2 lengths, in 24.73 seconds, in the Grade A1 ‘West Way Ranger’ Joint RGOA Dog Of The Month For January Trophy, which took place on 29th February, 2012.
Front Stage, trained by E. Gaskin, finished as a runner-up in his most recent race.
The son of Droopys Scolari, out of Twilight Fantasy, was defeated by Whack Wallop by ¾ of a length, in the Grade A1 400M Flat race, on 27th February, 2012.
Based on the previous performances, it looks like Hazeldene Dan will finish strong. He may bag another victory which will complete his hat-trick.
Large bets are placed on Pittsburgh Glory. He will race as a favourite in this race with winning odds of 11 to 4.
Both of these hounds are tough competitors who will be looking to get the prize money at the end.
The second place is likely to be acquired by Ashanti Kody.
The runner who is likely to finish in third place is Front Stage.
