Hazleton Pennsylvania obituary?

Question

A dear genealogy buddy of mine has passed away early this week. His name is John Edward Breen and he lived in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. I know his dates are

April 27, 1946- March 4, 2008

The funeral home handling his arrangements is

McHugh-Wilczek funeral home,

249 Centre St.

Freeland, PA

His service is tomorrow March 8, 2008

I have been unable to find a website for the funeral home and I've been unable to locate an obituary in the paper.

sorry to hear about losing your buddy...

my advice would be to sub to the county based email list, and put out a post for help. Almost every county I work, has local persons on list, and who are normally willing to lend a hand.

I suspect that they would be happy to scan the obit and email it for you.  

Then unsubsribe.

There is no website for the funeral home, although the phone number is [phone] if that helps.

I looked in all my normal places where I find stuff like that and was not able to find his obituary. Everyone else? Good luck

I spoke to the funeral home and there is an obit in the paper but the paper has no website. The service is at 1:00 pm tomorrow. I know his wife's name and he has a daughter
