Hazy Purty tipped to prevail in Jamaica Sprint Trophy - Heat 3
Hazy Purty has a solid chance of winning the Jamaica Sprint Trophy - Heat 3 at Coventry in England on Thursday, June 21, 2012. The winner of the 263 metres flat race will walk away with a cash prize of £150.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 21:28 GMT and following runners have been attracted towards it: Slick Shane, Hazy Purty, Clomantagh Rock, Tybar Tiny, Never Never and Penniment Mick.
Out of the above mentioned runners, Hazy Purty will definitely be a top contender for victory, as she is a finer runner and has got an impressive speed. Her performances in recent times have been good, which will encourage the punters to place a lot of bets
on her.
The G. Ballentine’s trainee has managed to win a couple of races out of her previous five attempts, which shows that she is carrying a very good momentum right now. Her fans will be expecting her to continue delivering such results with consistency.
Despite doing well in this class, there have been times when the fawn b***h has failed to challenge her opponents. She finished fifth in her most recent run, which is not a positive sign. Although she was up against some quality performers, everyone expected
her to fight for the top three positions.
Hazy Purty is the daughter of Astronomic out of Cyprus Millie May and was born in May 2009.
On the other hand, the bookies have given better odds to Slick Shane, who is also a very good runner and has got a lot of experience in the sport. He has been a touch inconsistent in recent times though, which will discourage the bettors to risk money on
him.
The K. Allsop’s trainee has won once out of his previous three Grade OR outings. He was unable to make a solid impression in his most recent outing, as he finished fifth in it. He was given the best odds back then as well, but failed to meet the expectations
of the bookies.
However, the oldest hound taking part in today’s race has the tools to bounce back strongly. He is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of Crossfield Tex and was born in May 2008.
