Hcg levels fall then rise what does this mean?

ok so here goes my lmp was 25 april then had period 30th may for one day only? went to docs and says no im not preg so left it a week still no period so retested and positive hpt. doc did internal and says im about 8 weeks going by dates of lmp and size of uterus.. went for scan.. womb empty, so had bloods done and my hcg was 63, repeated two days later and they were 22 then eventually to non pregnant below 5 a week later so i was told i miscarried, now heres the confusing part.. i still have had no bleed and did hpt yesterday and hey its positive despite the fact i have not had s*x since bein told i was preg prior to miscarriage also my bloods are now back up to 51, i have to wait a week to have them redone, doc thinks im just producin no viable tissue that is producing hcg then dieing .. please help... i

  1. did your doctor check your fallopian tubes?  I'd be suspicious of an ectopic pregnancy..because you described my second pregnancy (between my first and second child), and this is what was wrong with me; my baby implanted in the wrong place.  This could explain for your empty womb, or it could just mean that you're so little along, that there isn't much to see (thus, its easily missed).  Your levels indicate an ectopic pregnancy, and one that isn't all that far along (a few weeks, if that).  Definitely go back and get re-checked and bring this point up to your doctor.  Its better to be safe than sorry.


  2. Get them to check for an ectopic pregnancy as my levels did exactly the same when i suffered mine, i also had no bleeding either. The sooner you get it diagnosed the better as left untreated an ectopic pregnancy can be life threatening,
