Hd audio has stopped working

im using window vista home basic..and i have aprobelm with it everytime i open my laptop theres always a window mssg saying that hd audio has stopped working....i feel so bad coz i didnt do anything with my laptopand also theres a window dsplay saying that window side bar has stopped working also..what am suppoesed to do?is there anyone can help me with my problem?
