Hd cable question?

i am getting hd cable tv from time warner cable and is it 10 dollars for service or 10 dollars each cable box you own.. or what ever price is... also do u got to attach the antenna wire and the color wires to tv or bolth

  1. Don't know about Time Warner but Cox charges the $10 surplus on a "per set top box" basis.

    As for wires, If your HDTV and set top box have HDMI inputs, then you should purchase an HDMI cable and make that connection for a great picture. If one of the two boxes does not  have an HDMI connection, then you will need to use component cables (red, green, and blue). Keep in mind that you still need audio cables then (white and red) for the audio portion, for a total of five connections.  Component could also be used even if you have HDMI connectors but are lower in quality than HDMI.

    For an HD box, don't use the coax (you called it antenna) connection. It is low quality and defies the purpose you paid the extra money for HD broadcasting.
