Hd dvd is officially dead?

now that hd dvd is officially dead, what will you with your hd dvd player if you purchased one?

Im going to keep an eye out because movies should start to get REALLY cheap now.  Im not buying blue ray till they stop with all this copyright insanity. You have to update them all the time

it's still very usable as an upconverting player and HD DVDs are already starting to sell for 1/2 price or less, so stock up.

Yes, it is officially dead.  Last night the president of Toshiba announced they were going to slow production of players and will completely stop making HD DVD in March.  Universal announced this morning they are dropping HD DVD and moving to Blu-ray exclusively.  This leaves just Paramount to make their announcement to Blu-ray.
