Hdmi 1080p?

If a hd tele has 2 hdmi slot does that it mean it can reach 1080p?

  2. If an HDTV has 2 HDMI slots, it just means it can accept 2 separate HDMI video sources.  It has nothing to do with the video native and supported resolution.

    If a TV supports 1080p, then it has to have HDMI.  But, HDMI TVs do not have to support 1080p.  The only way to know if your TV supports it is to look at the specifications for your TV at the manufacturer's web site.

  3. 1080p just means how many tiles it changes in a second.  The P stands for progressive meaning that it goes in order line 1, 2, 3,4 etc.... "i" means every other line.  The 2 HDMI slots means that if you have a BLUERAY DVD player u can go directly to the TV avoiding the stereo and the second slot is for your stereo to recieve whatever else, DVD, cable, etc.
