Hdmi or d-sub?

Question

I want to connect my macbook to my samsung lcd, but I see that I have two options, use d-sub cable or an "dvi to hdmi". (I know that I have to get the mini dvi to dvi converter).

my question is, which one is better, the d-sub cable or the hdmi?

HDMI.

Using an HDMI cable will give you a much better picture, than when using a VGA (D-Sub) cable.
