how do i check if my tv is a hdtv or sdtv?

what kind of cable connections does it have on the back and usually a hd tv will say hd somewhere in the tv.

not to sound like a smartass, but if you don&#039;t know the answer, then there is a great chance that it is sdtv.

google you tv if it says HD ready then it is HD.

there are several types 720i 720p 1080i 1080p any lower is sdtv
