Hdtv problems?

my tv says it has integrated hdtv i have comcast cable but i dont know how to get hd channels how can i get them

A bump buyer is right.  All newer HDTV's have what is called a QAM tuner which allows you to get HD signals that cable companies broadcast just like regular channels.  You dont need a cable box or anything.  All you need is a HDTV and cable.  Then go into settings of tv and do a search for all digital channels.  You will then get all the local HD channels such as CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX  you wont get ESPN though

The channels might be listed like 2.1 or could be 100.9 just depends on where you live and which cable provider you use.

You need to have a HD box and subscribe to the HD programming package.

If you have that, you would then need to have the proper cable cord connections.  You would also have to set the TV on the input "channel" for the corresponding inputs on the back of the TV.  Then you have to change the pixel settings (720, 1080, etc) according to your preferences.

2. Re-set up the TV channels. Depending on HDTV Tunners, the  set-up process may different. However there is a section where you are asked to scan for:analog, digital, analog and digital signals. Chose digital or analog and digital signals.

3. The HDTV programs or Digital program usually in channel such as 8.1 or 8-1, where channel 8 is the same program but in analog system.  Enjoy.

Ok there are lots of steps to true HD

First Get a HD TV which you already have

Then get a HD cable reciver from your cable provider

After get HD channels

Then get HD connectivity the most approriate would be HdMI, DVI, or Component Video

Last for true true HD get a surrond sound home theater system
