  1. I use a PS3 for my Blu-ray player and I run it on a Sony 60" 1080p SXRD.  Sony makes really good LCD's and I would even go with Samsungs 61" HDTV, although Samsung is DLP technology, it's very clear and the only real difference is the technology (LCD or DLP).  Unless you have a really huge living room or you have a dedicated home theater room you should probably stay close to 60"s or under.  Mitsibishi makes a 72" LCD that is nice but if you get to close to it, it looks horrible.  Maybe try staying under 60" and make sure it is a true 1080p HDTV so you get the most out of your PS3.  But as far as brand goes, I would stick close to Sony.

  2. samsung has really good sets, so ive heard. it depends on what kind of dough you are willing to dish out. try to stick to brands that youve heard of. try also to get a 1080P and not a 1080i since the p has a better picture. the size will also depend on how big your viewing area is. larger tvs dont look that great from close up even if you have the wall space for one. as far as sites go, you will just have to click away till you are tired of looking at all the 1080s, and hdmis, and super- digital-high-performance-beer holders with built-in stereo speakers, and etc.,etc. etc. lol  (try looking at the websites for local department stores before you make the trips there. they will usually ship products you order from their warehouses to their stores free of charge and you will have the satisfaction of knowing it is brand new and not someones return.)

  3. Buy the biggest LCD screen you can afford to get.

Just make sure you get a Samsung or a Sony Bravia.

    Get a 1080p not a 1080i.

Get one with a fast refresh rate to eliminate picture lag.

Get yourself a HDMI cable as well to connect the PS3.

And finally for peace of mind , extend the factory warranty to 5yrs.

Hope this answers all your concerns.
