Question

i just got hd cable thru time warner and they guy who set it up gave me component cables, cool, so i saw that the back of the hd box has a DVI hook up to it, so i asked him if i can buy a DVI to HDMI cable and have that instead he said yes, so i bought one and hooked it up to my tv in the 2nd hdmi slot cuz my ps3 is in the first slot, my problem is i have picture but no sound, how can i fix this?? thanks

dvi cant carry sound

u need to use separate audio cables

either two phono (red and white) stereo

or a digital surround sound cable
