He asked me out as he was heading back inside and I was walking off to catch the bus... what next?

We were chatting for about 10 mins about what we were doing on the weekend etc... As we were departing i said, "im defintelty going out tonight, I wanna cause some trouble" (haha kind of in a playful way) and then he said "well if u like causing trouble then you should go out with me"

we looked at each other smiling and i put my head down and just said "yeah"

Ive liked him for ages and it was totally unexpected so I didnt know how to react.

he has a girlfriend, but i get the impression he is not happy in that relationship and he always compliments me but I dont know if he is just being friendly.

Im getting a vibe that he does like me, and I know that was probably my chance to say "ok here is my number, call me and we'll do something" but I didnt

do you think Ive missed my chance? Should I just continue to play it cool and just be friends? What should I say when I see him this week? Ive been single for a long time and I just dont know how to play the game anymore........ so any advice would be appreciated!

just play it cool cause if he was joking then it could cause an embarrassing moment. just be yourself, just a little closer too him, for example when your sitting down, site closer, just send little hints and if he wants to he'll make the first move and then you'll knwo that he was serious about the dating thing, and then you have to ask about his gf cause you don't want to be the 'other girl' that will be blamed for the break up

dont go there, he's got a girlfriend

until he breaks up with her, u'll jst be the other woman, or girl in this case

go out with someone who makes u feel feel special enough to be the only one he wants =]
