He clearly asked to compare/contrast a 3hour 1 night class to a class that is 1hour a day but 3 times a week.?

A three hour class once a week is really long, and usually results in the professor/instructor knocking off 30 minutes from the end plus giving a few breaks during class, because that is too long to sit/lecture.  It's just a bit more intense, covering more material in one session than the three times a week class.  It all depends on how strict the school, program, and teacher are at meeting time requirements.
