ok here i go. i've been tring to get pregnant for about 2 3 months already. well the first month failed along with the second. here we are on the third. its a little weird though cause i dont understand whats going on. on may 18th i started my period then on june 21st again so i noticed that when i finished my period the month before on that date i start the next month so i was supposed to start already ive hardly ever late. yet i have not started my period this month, but i have had like little pregnancy symtoms here and there. like the headachs and the cravings the tiredness dizzyness wanting and felling like throwing up also and my husband he has been cravying things too like extra pickles on his burgers and he is not a big fan of pickles and he will eat the whole ones and eating ice cream and like i said he dont really eat that stuff cause he is not a big fan of them. everytime i take a pregnancy test it comes out negative. so i dont know what to think. what do ya girls think

  1. If your having symptoms and home tests are showing negative it could be there are not enough hormones to detect yet.Either wait a couple of weeks and try a home test again and if you cant wait, get to the doctor and find out for sure! Its a feeling within you that you will just "know" and for those who say they don't get that feeling, well i don't get that because for me the first time was overwhelming and i just knew. All the best to you both!!

  2. wait until the day that your period is supposed to come....if no period on that day take an hpt again....if negative and no period wait a week and try again, if the same happens try getting a blood test from a doctor...hang in there, it takes somestimes up to 6 months or more to get pregnant, you can also ask a doctor online for free for an opinion, try www.FertilityTies.com

  3. I would call your doctor first thing Monday morinng to ask for a blood test. In the mean time, try (I know it's hard!) not to think about it too much. You can trick you body into thinking you are pregnant and cause these symptoms. Call your doctor! Good luck and lots and lots of baby dust to you!

  4. Going through the same thing. I'am going to have doctor take a blood pt

  5. First I love the fact that your hubby has cravings too lol.  When I was pregnant and eating for two my hubby ate more as well and by the end it looked as if he was a few months along lol.  Just don't let that craving get out of hand lol.

Second, it's hard to figure out how long your cycles are until you actually count from the start of your flow to the start of the next flow.  May 18th - June 21st was a 34 day cycle.  If you usually have a 34 day cycle you would have been due on the 24th.  A few days late can mean that you ovulated late or due to stress, anxiety and so forth... I try not to get too excited 2 days late.  It is possible however that the tests that you took earlier were too early to detect the trace amounts of hCG.  Try in a few days when you will be closer to a week late.  Since you are not sure when you ovulated we can't go by that.  Sometimes pregnancy happens right away and other times it can take a while.  IF you are not pregnant this month you may want to think about charting.  Go to http://www.fertilityfriend.com/  and sign up for a free account.  They also offer free lessons on charting and understanding fertility that I've found very helpful, you can sign up for that as well via email.  I know that at 3 months now it seems like an eternity but really you are not alone, many couples try for a year these days before conceiving.

IF you are a week late and still nothing do make an appointment with the doc for a blood test as those are more conclusive and the most sensitive test out there.

Best of luck and blessings :)
