He is confused about Yoosuf saying “Mention me to your master”?

Question

Does Allah punish his prophets? In the story of Yusuf (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), was he left in prison for a number of years as a punishment from Allah because he asked one of his prison mates to mention him to his master, while only Allah should be called Master.

any man is called the master (rabb) of his household. it has nothing to do with God.

Yusuf (as) is a great prophet. Read about him.

Allah tests His slaves.

Yaqoub(as) is a great prophet. He had many years of sufferings.

Muhammad (saww) suffered torture by the Kaffirs of Mecca. He used to come home bleeding from head to toe.

I just read that surah! Well, anyway, don't forget that slaves also call their masters 'Master'. I don't think Allah (SWT) punished him. I think it was probably just a test from Allah (SWT)
