He is in court for 3 counts of assault?

we were at the bar and he followed us out. He was urinating by the car and my two friends got in. i was going to another vehicle. He started using profane words and being very vulgar. I felt threatened and apparently came at him first . then my two girlfriends jumped on him. there are cameras. Can this be turned around and put on me, can i be prosecuted after the incident.

In this one instance, yes, because he was just cussing and you could have ignored him and gotten in your car.

He probably won't bother with calling the cops with his record.

What's to turn around?  You just admitted you came at him first, then your girlfriends joined in.  The cameras caught you.  Yes you can be prosecuted.

most probably, yes. the cameras do not record sound, only images therefor if this guy is clever, he could make it seem like he was innocently attacked.

You say he follow you out, why would you think he was following you out? He urinated, used vulgar language and has a criminal record. How did you feel threatened? You had 2 choices; to get in your car and leave or you and your friends could jump him. You made the wrong choice you assaulted him.

Seems some information is missing from your side of the story.

How do you know he has a criminal record? Just because he has a criminal record doesn't mean he doesn't have rights.
