He is pooping blood?!?!?!!?!!?!

okay so my sisters boyfriend is pooping blood! they are on their way to the hospital but i am nervous! i know it can be a multiple amount of things! does anyone know what it could be?!?!

This happened to my husband. He would scream for me and tell me he was pooing blood. Apparently he had a hemorrhoid (sp).

my sister pooped out blood for like three days, but nothihng happen? Soo Relax hope everything is okay!

Hemorrhoids, IBS or colon cancer among other things.

Probably internal hemorrhoids. It could also be another ruptured vessel in the lower intestines. IF the blood is bright red it's probably a ruptured hemorrhoid. If it's black and in the stool, then it indicates internal bleeding which is something to worry about.

But if it looks like blood (is red and bright, fresh) he probably is fine. Perhaps he was constipated, and passed a really hard stool - that is a typical cause for a bleeding bunghole.
