He knows it will hurt me. Should I risk going to his party and trust him?

Last time I went to his house for a party, he made out with the party s**t right in front of me. We were casually sorta seeing each other and ran after me to apologize for leading me on and doing this. Told me he would date me if we weren't coworkers blah blah blah. Hurt like h**l, sorta forgave him, it's only been a week. We were supposed to go canoing today with another friend and they both had to cancel but he wants me to come over to his house for pool and volleyball. I want to go but afraid of feeling uncomfortable if he invites that girl. He knows how I feel, we talked about it. Would it be rude not to go?

It seems that you are trying to create a romantic relationship, that's not going to happen. Why do you want to put yourself in a position that will make you miserable? This is a question you need to ask yourself, then find the answer. He's not going to date you (he told you), so why would you feel uncomfortable around a girl that you refer to as a s**t? Do you refer to her as a s**t because he doesn't want you, in that way? He is free to do whatever he wants but he is trying to include you in his life. Although, it sounds like you already slept with him. The only way it will cause hostility at work, is if you create it. If you feel like you will cause drama, don't go to the party; You wouldn't have fun anyway.

you are coworkers and he won't date you because of it so why are you upset that he's kissing someone else? get over it if he really wanted you then he would be with you sounds like he's just leading you on cause he knows he can and he likes that you get jealous

it wouldnt really be rude considering the circumstances but i would go and if the girl shows up and it gets to uncomfortable then just tell him im sorry but i have to leave maybe ill talk to you later or something, thx for inviting me!
