He moved and I don't know what to do...

Question

My boyfriend had to go to a private school for a year because he hasn't been making good choices and he has anger issues sometimes. He thought he was supposed to go the same day I went which is September but at the last minute his dad told him it was the next day. He has to live there and he can't text or call me anymore and he can't write to me for 3 months. He doesn't have any time off until December and then April but only for 3 days so I only get to see him twice. My dad said I could visit him but it's like an hour away and we don't know if you can visit people there. I get to call his dad to see how he's doing and I tell him stuff to tell my boyfriend but there's stuff I don't want to tell him. I don't know what to do anymore. I've just been in bed all day doing nothing but crying. I just want to see him again and 3 months is too long for me... What do I do?

well, hang in there.  I wish I had the option your bf has.  My son (16) is in a facility from anger issues.

I would suggest writing and being supportive.  It isn't easy.  If you hang in there it will work out.  When you're young three months is a long time.  When you get a few decades on you they seem to fly.  Be patient and don't go looking for "comfort" while you apart.
