He said this to me...?

Question

Basically, I have a best guy friend, we are both 18. He knows I like him, and so things were always a little akward. But in the past few months we've really got on. we tease constantly, playfight, hug etc.

He now talks to me constantly on msn, he's started inviting me over more than he used to, he makes a deliberate effort to stand between me and the traffic when walking down the road, he told me to promise him i'd take care in my new car, stuff like that.

Anyway- The last two times we slept at a friends house together, we've been tipsy. Both occasions, as soon as the lights have gone out, he's rolled over to face me and waited for a reaction- as soon as I moved to face him, he's grabbed my hand and held it all night and slept with our faces next to each other, cuddling etc.

Then last night on msn, at 3am he came online saying he'd been out drinking, he said he was pretty drunk, but he could still type pretty normally, no mistakes and normal speed. He was like, "oh youre here! that makes me happy!"

Then as we were saying goodbye, he came out with "wish you were here, its always so much better sleep when ur here but hey ho"

What does this mean? And am I supposed to act on this, or forget he said it? He wasn't really drunk either, he could type normally and was making perfect sense with everything else.

You know he likes you. Most people spill their true feelings when they're drunk and this time is no exception. Keep letting things go the way they're going and maybe something will come of it. Just don't ask him straight out and scare him off.

I think he was kinda foolin' around but you say he was drunk right? I think it's trying to say he can't sleep without you, but when you're with him, he can sleep better. And he wants you to be with him cause he is always thinking about you. That's what I think. Well anyways, Good luck.♥

don't do anything unless he makes a move -- one a guy should do and not fake by saying im drunk or whatever just to say those things. it's better to wait than expect or rush and get hurt.

I dont know about acting on it, but you might want to ask him about it.  Just ask what he meant by that.

You know the best relationships blossom from having a great friendship?  If you are feeling something more, like it seems he probably is, you two might want to sit down, and tell each other how you truly feel.  Dont let something special slip by.

I would ask him how he truly feels about you, and if its changed from just being good friends.

Oh come onnnn!!! He likes you. Dont expect him to jump in and say hey will you marry me!!! just take it as it is, but one thing i must tell you, you must not be available to him all times, dont talk to him online, always and very rarely dont answer or return his phonecalls. Just leave an element of mystery  and leave him a little doubtful at times. That will increase a spark in him and want you more. And one other thing, please dont have s*x with him if you truly want him to commit. Trust me, he will fall madly in love with you and there will be no turning back then!!

if he was pretending then maybe he meant it.. to use it as an excuse to fall back on in case he gets rejected?

do you know if hes certain you still like him? if he knew a while ago and youve been trying not to make a big deal he might be testing to see if you still do
