  1. First let me tell you that you have just received a huge compliment .You have said or done something that has made the day great & fulfilling for that person & that he  /she is appreciative of this fact ,it conveys this has meant a lot to them.

  2. it means u say something that appeal to him or upseted him cause he can use sarcasm.....but that'll be rare

  3. To "make someone's day" is a good thing, for them.  It can mean to "make their day" any one of the following:

    complete, enjoyable, memorable, worthwhile, profitable, etc.

    Sometimes it isn't such a good thing for the person making the day.  Clint Eastwood was famous for the catchphrase of a movie from a few decades back, where he would utter the phrase (while holding a person at gunpoint with a .44 Magnum handgun) "Go ahead. Make my day" to signify that he looked forward to making soup out of the person's head.
