He was a china mandarin, golden (might have been silver) bells on his palaquin.

Long ago by a master's hand,

all his quaint little tricks were planned.

Tongue that twisted and head that shook, silver sandles....... (can't remember the rest)

we used to sing it at school. anyone know where i can find it - there is a question on here about it but the question is resolved and i can't contact the questioner.
