I really want to go on a Cruise to Mexico and my boyfriend thinks that he will be bored on the days we are just on the ship. Have you and your husband/boyfriend been on a Carnival Cruise? Did he have fun? I really need help to convert him into a cruise-believer.

Thanks!

  1. Have him watch this short video:

He'll be a convert in no time!

  2. i am a boy  and the days at sea were the best!   trust me,    especially on carnival,  no i'm not talking the disco   but it is really cool to walk around the ship and  see it's  beauty.

hopefully both of you go and if you do  enjoy your cruise

  3. This sounds like the exact same argument my parents used to have.  My Mom finally said "I'm going!  You can come with me or I'll find someone else to go with me!"  He moaned and whined through all the arrangements, but went with her.  He came back a complete convert and started planning a family cruise for the following year.  Don't know if this tactic will work on your boyfriend, but if it doesn't I'm sure someone else (less pigheaded and open to fun) will go with you!

  4. Its more exciting the days you arent in mexico

I went on a carnival cruise and it was supposed to go to

    cayman mexico and jamaica...

and it ended up only going to cayman

bc a hurricane was brewing so we sat on the ship 6 days

    it was GREAT

food is the best part, food bars, and shows.

be careful tho, i did get robbed by like a 16yr old boy!

  5. My boyfriend didn't think he would enjoy the "cruise part" either, but wanted to see the different destinations.  The time onboard is a blast.  There is a casino, bars, pools, (other sports activities depending on the ship), and not to mention all of the shows and games they have onboard.  If you can't have fun on a cruise, you can't have fun anywhere.  They are a blast.  By the end of the first night of our cruise, my boyfriend thanked me and said this is the most amazing experience!  So, beg and plead LOL.  He will have a blast once you get him there.

  6. Wait...

Doesn't the fun STOP when you get off the boat..?

  7. well you could tell him "i want to go , i want to spend quality time with you and it sounds like fun"  IF you dont' want to go with me , i will find another female friend to go with me.

best of luck trying to convince him

carnival cruise to mexico sounds like a great cruise, by the way

  8. he's a d**n party pooper

    bring out your romantic side.

  9. Let me mail a free DVD to you that you can show him!  Once he sees the DVD he'll change his mind!

  10. they are awesome we had a ton of fun I to was a real skeptic but when all was said and done I am thrilled I went.  hubby had a lot of fun there was plenty to do and If he wont go

call me I got a little extra time on my hands! LOL

    not really just kidding.

It is all included with your package that you choose no extra or hidden fees

  11. I wouldn't either... on a ship in international waters there are no laws.  No one will enforce squat.  Not safe.  Go to a nice resort instead.  I liked the Bahia Tulum in Mexico (the Mayan Rivera) but if your looking for excitement go to Cancun (very different feel from the Rivera).

  12. people disappear on cruises...

  13. Cruising doesnt fit all but being on a cruise ship could be as fun as you make it! What you have is basicly a moving nightclub that follows you every night plus a sun resort up in the roof so if any of this activitets atracts your husband he definitely want to go! And the ships programme will be filled with intressting activitets the entire cruise.

I am male and I have a hard time bealiving that anyone could be bored on a cruise. especially if that one is going with a girlfriend... Johan.

  14. tell him to man up and go!! it will be fun for the two of you just to get away from everything  and just enjoy each other

  15. just tell him to go

i when on a carnival cruise last month

i have a ton of fun

    you're never bored on cruises

they always have shows or activities to do on ship

and most times your out on a port of call

  16. okay if i had a chance to go on a cruise and my husband didn't want to go i would first try to convince him to go by telling him it will make you happy and you'll owe him one one day when he wants to do some thing you don't. if that doesn't work tell him fine your going with out him. you got to look out for number one. its your life. when your dying do you want to say ah that was the S**t or ehhh at least HE never had to do anything he didn't want to.

  17. It depends on the ship and the activities they offer. I went on a carnival cruise and was bored because they didn't have activities and what they did offer they charged for. Since then I tried royal caribbean and find them to be a more enjoyable cruise line. They offer a variety of activities, and its nearly impossible to be bored. Research the cruise line and ship and make sure it fits your cruise personality.
