  1. take it easy it's happen to me

  2. i have the SAME EXACT PROBLEM. i get so shaky and nervous. focus on something in the room behind everyone and dont look anyone directly in the eyes. or what i do is relax my eyes so not everyone is in focus and i speak. that way everyone blends in with one another and i dont have to look at anyone directly.

  3. just say you like hanging out with friends. It's casual and it works I guess. Also say what's your favourite food. Pizza, icecream... And trust me, I have a fear of public speaking too. Just ask one of your friends in that class to smile at you when you look in that direction. Sometimes a reassuring face can really help! (hope this helps and goodluck)

  4. look at the peoples top of there head or at the back wall dont panic its the worst thing you can do.

  5. Public speaking is a common source of stress for everyone. Many of us would like to avoid this problem entirely, but this is hard to do. Whether we work alone or with large numbers of people, eventually we will need to speak in public to get certain tasks accomplished. And if we want to be leaders or achieve anything meaningful in our lives, we will often need to speak to groups, large and small, to be successful.

The truth about public speaking, however, is IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE STRESSFUL! If you correctly understand the hidden causes of public speaking stress, and if you keep just a few key principles in mind, speaking in public will soon become an invigorating and satisfying experience for you.

10 Key Principals To Always Keep in Mind:

#1---Speaking in Public is NOT Inherently Stressful

#2---You Don't Have to be Brilliant or Perfect to Succeed

#3---All You Need is Two or Three Main Points

#4---You also Need a Purpose That is Right for the Task

#5---The Best Way to Succeed is NOT to Consider Yourself a Public Speaker!

#6---Humility and Humor Can Go a Long Way

#7---When You Speak in Public, Nothing "Bad" Can Ever Happen!

#8---You Don't Have to Control the Behavior of Your Audience

#9---In General, the More You Prepare, the Worse You Will Do

#10--Your Audience Truly Wants You to Succeed

Remeber, speak extra slowly and clearly, even if it sounds a little silly. What may sound super slow to you can sound normal to the audience while public speaking.

Try to relax, and keep on smiling. Know that you are not alone - tons of people are nervous about this!

    Good luck in the future!

  6. i used to get nervous in front of people but not i really dont! i look at my smiley best friend if she is in that class, practice what you are going to say to EVERYONE in the family. including pets!!! then when you get up in front of the class it wont be as scary

  7. Take a couple really deep breaths before you start, that stops all stuttering.  To stop from shaking, clench your fists really really hard and then loosen up and you wont shake.   Also, if you don't like making eye contact, then pick two or three spots in the classroom and move your eyes from one point to another, and it looks like you're looking at the whole class.  Simple strategies that my social studies teacher taught me ^_^

  8. just breathe, stretch ,shake and let it go

  9. just relax, take a deep breath and let it go

  10. just dont think about everyone else.  dont worry about it.

  11. Obviously, you find something scary about talking in front of people. Ask yourself what your problem is about public speaking and list them down mentally. Then think if theres anything to back your fears up and what would be the WORST thing that could happen. For example, if you think that you don't like the public speaking idea because you're afraid you'll be made fun of, think of your classmates booing you and throwing things from paper balls to rotten veggies (don't ask me where they'll get them). Silly, isn't it. Make your fears seem trivial (they are a bit irrational, but it doesn't seem like that to you), and you can face them head on and overcome them.

  12. It's normal. Just practice what you're gonna say to yourself.

  13. think of something that relaxes or calms you before you go up. It works for me, maybe it'll help you too. Good luck tomorrow.

  14. its part of life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    most of us hate it!!!!!!!!

knowing that your not alone should help you through it...volunteer to go first...gets it ovr with and makes you look more confident then you really are1

  15. Try to tell yourself you don't care what anyone in the class thinks about you, even if it is not true.

  16. DO NOT MEMORIZE!!!!!! I think you should definitely know the material. If you memorize you are bound to "hiccup" and when you do, you are lost...and finished! If you know the material very well, you cannot go wrong.

    1.) know the materiel

    2.) know the material

3.) make a simple outline (NOT WORD FOR WORD) to refresh your memory as to what you want to talk about.

4.) don't say umm, pick your finger nails, tap the podeium, or look at the cieling.

    5.) know the material

    6.) don't memorize.

The key, is to be prepared, not memorize word for word, sentence for sentence.
