How many days after my missed period should I take a pregnancy test?

You can take it as soon as your period is late.Some tests like First response allows you to take it up to 5 days before your missed period.So you can take it now if you are already late.Good luck!

take it now most will tell you 5 days b4 missed period (depending on your hormone levels) because thats how it tests............

I just went through this..I am on BC but was 3 days late. I took two home and they said negative...I had my period the next day (because the stress had been lightened by the neg. result I think).

Buy a kit with two...take one, just to see. If it is neg. it may lessen the stress and you will have your period. If it is pos. it's better to know earlier.

Do it "first pee" in the morning.

I took mine when i was 3 days late. But if you are due now for your period and dont have it, its safe to test and get and accurate reading.

MANY PEOPLE CAN TEST ON THE DAY OF THEIR MISSED PERIOD BUT JUST TO BE SURE I WOULD GIVE IT AT LEAST 1 WEEK AFTER AND YOU SHOULD GET PRETTY GOOD RESULTS

I was always right on the date with each perdiod, so i took mine the day after  the expected date of my period, and It came positive.

So it should be accurate Now. it all depends on when you got pregnant. Some tests make you wait a week After conception to be accurate. But to stay on the safe side, i'd say take one now.

Go ahead and take it, any day after your missed period you should be able to take it and get an accurate result.
