Head Iton Eoin expected to win Stayers Classic (Heat 5)
Head Iton Eoin is expected to deliver a winning performance and lift the ace title of the Ladbrokes Summer Stayers Classic (Heat 5) that will take place at Monmore racecourse on Monday, June 11. The Open race over the distance of 630 metres will commence
at 15:28 (GMT).
The P. Rosney-trained black dog has accomplished a number of iconic feats since the dawn of 2012, spiking up his confidence level to a great extent along with getting some reasonable odds in the betting market.
Following a 5 ½-length clean victory on January 2, the three-year-old veteran hound moved on to win a race each in the next three months.
During May, the maverick sprinter achieved a fabulous hat-trick of triumphs. These remarkable performances boosted up his morale greatly.
The brilliant son of Hondo Black out of Smooth And Soft went on to grab a 4th and a 5th position in the last two starts of his career.
As a whole, the talented runner poses to be a solid candidate for the Heat title. He will confidently compete against five worthy rivals such as Farley Zach, Brinkleys Flyer, Dixies Air, Eden Rock and Swift Freeze.
Though Head Iton Eoin looks to be strong enough but each one of Dixies Air and Eden Rock will try to impede him in the race.
Dixies Air too owns a decent track record. After bagging a couple of consecutive victories in January, the M. Wallis-trained black dog won a race in April. The experienced runner elegantly claimed two classic triumphs in May. He again finished first by the
big margin of 4 ½ lengths in his last outing on June 7.
On the other hand, Eden Rock started 2012 with an epic victory on January 16. The K. Billingham-trained black dog moved on to gain a conquest in April. He brilliantly won a race each on May 20 and June 2.
Thus, each one of the duo is fervent to strive for success. In this situation, Head Iton Eoin will have to face a lot of resistance. Overall, the event will be thrilling enough. Good luck to all the contestants.
