Head Iton Hayesy to stamp the Owlerton Stadium Celebrating 80 Years Of Greyhound Racing at Sheffield on 10th April
The Owlerton Stadium Celebrating 80 Years Of Greyhound Racing is to get hosted by Sheffield over 500 metres flat on Tuesday, 10th April. Battling for the £880 prize money would be Head Iton Hayesy, Raise Me Up, Taylors Cruise, Jazz Apollo, Ballymac
Ramos and Skywalker Louie.
The lineup for the race is highly competitive but exploding with experience and victories is the record of Head Iton Hayesy, Westmead Hawk’s three-year-old brindle son out of b***h Windgap Aero. His first three races of the season got him a hat trick which
then was extended to a fourth win in line on 7th March.
Head Iton Hayesy penetrated into the new season on 2nd January at Hall Green over 480 metres. He bagged the seasonal debut by completing the trip in 29.03 seconds while leading the runner up of the race, Proper Pink, by a good seven and a half
length.
He then monopolised the second start of the season by taking 28.90 seconds to win the Local Parking Security Standard Division 1 on 10th January at Hall Green over 480 metres. Yahoo Jamie was the 15/8 favourite runner up of the race and settling
right next to him was Farloe Titan.
He completed the trio and got entitled to a hat trick by winning the second heat of the Swindon January Monkey 509er on 18th January at Swindon by clocking the track distance in 30.24 seconds, the 4/6 favourite of the race led the runner up, Holdem
Angel, by 1 ¾ length.
Finishing the race third behind the winner was Killacolla Eagle.
In order to make sure that the victories kept coming in, the trainer S. Race drilled the three-year-old over 500 metres at Sheffield on 29th February which he settled in 29.16 seconds.
He won the fourth race of the season on 7th March in a 500 metres race at Sheffield for which he took 29.13 seconds. He was then trained twice at Shawfield over 480 metres, first on 17th March and then on 24th March.
Despite the rigorous training, Head Iton Hayesy lost the Bettor.Com Scottish Derby 1st Round Heat 1 on 31st March as he finished fifth in it.
Two training sessions after unprecedented success and then a failure will provoke the three-year-old to bag the race tonight.
