Head Iton Hayesy wins The Swindon January Monkey 509er – (Heat 2)
Head Iton Hayesy, a brindle dog trained by S Race, completed the first ever hat-trick of his career by winning The Swindon January Monkey 509er – (Heat 2) event on January 18, at Swindon track.

It was an Open Race of 509m category. The triumphant hound ran against Holdem Angel, Killacolla Eagle, Bigwood Honey, Uncle Des and Hedsor Lucas.
Starting as a favourite runner with 4 to 6 starting price, Head Iton Hayesy won his third race in a row last night. It was his fifth victory overall.
The race began at 20:36. The son of Westmead Hawk broke from trap 3, and he lacked a little bit of spirit in the beginning, making his sponsors worried.
However, the brilliant dog abruptly shook out of his slow paced run at the middle of the track after crowding second and fourth. Once he took the lead, he managed to run more enthusiastically towards the boundary strap.
The back runners were unable to catch him, as he had maintained enough distance from them. At last, the favourite hound reached the finish line in 30.24 seconds with a margin of 1 ¾ lengths.
Whelped in October 2009, the young racer started his career on August 15, 2011. The way Head Iton Hayesy performed during last three racers was evident of his inherent skills and stamina. After winning yesterday’s event, he was able to prove his critics
wrong once again, and establish himself as a superlative betting prospect for the upcoming events.
Race was packed with excitement last night for his trainee’s fabulous victory, hoping a resplendent career for him.
Holdem Angel accomplished second position by covering the distance in 30.39 seconds. The black dog broke from trap 4, and fought for the top rank, but lagged 1 ¾ lengths behind. Whelped in June 2009, he started his career on June 6, 2011. The son of
Westmead Joe is trained by C Weatherall.
Killacolla Eagle was the third top finisher in the race. Breaking from trap 2, the trainee of F J Gray reached the boundary strap in 30.41 seconds. The dog gave enough tough time to Holdem Angel but lagged just 0.2 seconds behind. The son of Droopys
Maldini was whelped in September, 2008.
At the end of the race, the topper bagged £100, while Holdem Angel got £25. Each of the other four hounds earned £20.
