Head tilt in Rat? Forgot to ask the vet something?

I went to the vet because one of my rats developed a head tilt. He was given a steriod shot while there and I was given some oral antibiotics. The vet is now closed and I forgot to ask her when I should start him on the antibiotic since he was given an injection all ready. Should I start now or wait until tomorrow.

You can call another exotics vet and explain what the vet did and gave your rat and ask them to ask there vet since the one you went to is closed what you should do. You can call Banfield which is located right inside Petsmart. They should be open today.

It should say on the label of the antibiotics.

If it doesn't say, then you usually give the dosage once in the morning and once at night.

and yes, you should start NOW.
